Caroline Anaya is a skilled Acupuncturist with a passion for helping people to achieve a greater quality of life. In practice since April 2013, Caroline’s goal is to collaborate with patients and their health care team to develop a diagnostic and therapeutic program that works for the individual to accomplish optimal health and vitality. She is a grounded, compassionate professional who inspires confidence for healing with strong expertise in clinical acupuncture applications and western medicine considerations.
Caroline grew up in Gilroy, California. She attended the University of California, Santa Cruz where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. Her education also includes a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine with over 3200 hours of schooling at Five Branches University. She has ongoing hours in continuing education with a focus on pain management and women’s health. At Five Branches University, she studied acupuncture and an array of Chinese medicine modalities including electroacupuncture, fire cupping, guasha, moxibustion, herbal medicine, tuina, and participated in clinical rounds. While in school, Caroline completed externships at fertility clinics in both San Jose and Santa Cruz as well as an externship at a Veteran’s clinic, and community health care clinic in Santa Cruz. She has proven success with addressing health challenges to achieve greater quality of life.
In her spare time, she can be found enjoying the outdoors with her family and friends.
