Clinical pain psychology can be a beneficial part of your treatment plan when dealing with pain and more specifically, chronic pain.
During your appointment, you may be asked specific questions relating to your injury and/or pain so that our psychologist has a comprehensive understanding of your concerns.
For patients dealing with pain, treatment plans are designed for each individual. The plan often involves teaching relaxation techniques, changing old beliefs about pain, building new coping skills and addressing any anxiety or depression that may accompany your pain.
For more information about our clinical pain psychology treatment options or to schedule an appointment, please call our office at (408) 356-5292.
